Change document id

I like citeulike a lot, but a very annoying thing with it is that you cannot change paper ids. For example, in my latex file, i like to refer to my bib with the following format : AuthorDateTitle (e.g. "burigat08decluttering"). Unfortunately, when I use firefox to post a new article, I cannot then change its paper id (which is like "citeulike:2742725").

Could you add this feature ? That would be great.

You can edit the key which is used for BibTeX and RIS exports. Go to the article page. Below the citation information, you should see an '[Edit]' link (you'll need to be logged in). If you follow this link, you'll get a page which allows you to edit the article's details. Scroll down, and the last field before the abstract is 'BibTeX Key'.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
